"When there's a Tenjin festival, we'd cool watermelon and juice in this pond. Summer is so refreshingly cold, it feels wonderful! The water temperature stays nearly constant year-round," said the nostalgic owner. The spring water that flows from here nourishes not only rice fields and farms but is woven into daily life in many ways, a truly luxurious environment! In autumn, it's beautiful as leaves drift slowly downstream. "The greatest charm of living here is undoubtedly the perfect starry sky! At night it's quiet and dark, so I saw shooting stars from the garden all the time. It's a special feeling you can't experience in cities or residential areas! Fireflies dance in the nearby creek, the air is clean, nature is just abundantly rich," the owner said happily. Though surrounded by mountains, the valley has a wide open sky with a pleasant view. / The settlement is a maze of narrow alleys with water-sounds flowing from everywhere. Elementary school is nearby; children walk there, taking detours past streams and open fields. "Despite being so close, they'd dawdle and rarely came home on time!" laughed the owner who raised kids in this house.
