The interior has a compact 4-room layout with mixed Japanese and Western-style rooms. Some Japanese rooms have been converted to Western-style. In 2016, a gas water heater was installed and the bathroom was renovated at the same time. The roof has been re-shingled once. There is currently one roof leakage at the building seam.
