From the listing
A streamside property in Hanno City. Purchased and renovated several years ago with the intention of using it as a future vacation home. Upon purchase, the building had significant age-related deterioration, so major renovation work was performed. The previous owner appeared to have built with careful attention to detail, and the basic structure is sound. As can be seen in the images, the walls of the 1F living room are board-lined with local Hanno cedar. Major renovations include: exterior repainting, complete roof replacement (both high-durability materials), water heater replacement, new bathroom vanity, kitchen sink repair, drywall replacement in all rooms except living room, under-floor insect treatment, partial ceiling work, floor joist reinforcement, 1st floor living room flooring completely replaced, entrance threshold replacement, sunroom and all room mosquito screen replacement, air conditioning replacement and installation throughout, and more. The property is situated in a natural and scenic location. As visible in the images, a small stream flows below the property. Stairs have been installed to allow direct access down to the stream. It is truly a "private stream" for residents only. The previous owner had invested much care in the stream, having even installed landscaping stones to enhance the water flow. The parking area is spacious, easily accommodating 2 vehicles. Those who enjoy DIY could use this space to create various scenes. The property is located a 20-minute walk from Agano Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. As a result, the front road is also a hiking course to Kaoburi Pass, which has been gaining popularity in recent years (Kaoburi Pass: legend has it that when Minamoto no Yoshitsune was fleeing from his older brother Yoritomo's pursuing forces, he reached this pass and was so moved by its beauty that he turned back many times to gaze at the scenery, thus the pass was named). The property can also be used as a rental (investment property). It was rented out quickly when advertised. Based on past performance, the yield is approximately 8.97%. Price has been reduced as indicated since January 2026. Due to the care that has been invested and the significant price adjustment, we are unable to accept price negotiations in advance. Please note that some minor renovations have been made, so the images may differ slightly from the current state. Please consider the property in its current as-is condition. As-is transaction.

Area and hazard data
4 checks clear, 1 not applicable. Each check is against a government map for this exact point. Where a map is missing or we can't use it, we say so; that never means there's no risk.
