A magnificent 2-story log house built in 2010. The owner built it together with a local carpenter. The entire exterior of the building is surrounded by a wood deck, creating a charming space even before entering. Opening the front door reveals a soaring vaulted space. A raised tatami area in the back is lovely. A wood stove sits beside the entrance and works hard during Soni's cold winters. The kitchen is L-shaped with an IH cooktop, with a counter overlooking the raised tatami room for easy serving. Both the bath and toilet are spacious. On the first floor, there is also a study area next to the stairs and an 8-mat bedroom. The bedroom has an air conditioner, though it is used only a few times a year. A large 2-mat storage area is also appreciated. The second floor is a 16-mat open space. In winter, the space is divided with vinyl curtains to improve the wood stove's heat efficiency. The stairwell has a handmade door for excellent insulation. There is a covered carport for 2 vehicles, with room for multiple additional vehicles on the grounds. Next to the carport is a small shed for outdoor work. A gazebo in a corner of the expansive grounds has been converted into a sauna shed with an attached cold plunge bath, allowing one to "reach a state of bliss" in spectacular scenery. There is also space for vegetable gardening within wildlife-protection fencing, and various fruit trees are planted, enabling an agricultural lifestyle. The roof has 18kw of solar panels with a fixed-price electricity sales contract, with approximately 6.3 yen million in remaining sales potential (calculated from past sales trends). Additionally, there is a 7-8 year supply of firewood stockpiled for the stove, a significant value if purchased anew. Though built for leisurely living, the owner spent time tending the garden, making firewood, and maintaining the house, and noted "while not as relaxing as intended, we had enjoyable days." The owner's remark was striking: "With everything already set up, wouldn't the next resident find it less fun?" We hope the new residents will cherish and continue the care this owner has invested.
