The Kyotsuka district of Sakegawa Village is the area with the most migrants in Yamagata's Mogami region, attracting newcomers from both within and outside the prefecture. Not that I'm just boasting because it's my hometown of Sakegawa Village. The area is appreciated for being quiet, easy to live in, and having community vitality. First, regarding livability: set back slightly from the main road with neighbors at a distance of several tens of meters, so there's no noise. Shopping and hospitals are about 10 minutes away in Shinjo City and Mamigawa Town. Daily life is entirely within walking distance, local convenience stores, post office, ramen shop (with alcohol service at night), soccer ground, gymnasium, all accessible on foot. The community, accustomed to welcoming migrants, dispels concerns, and the entire area watches over security and children. The area's energy stems from history. Above all, Sakegawa Kabuki is remarkable, country kabuki with nearly 300 years of history, with many handsome successors. It attracts loyal fans from the Kanto region, and regular performances overflow with audiences. Local elementary students also perform as actors. Becoming an actor and receiving the Ichikawa name is a major attraction. This property has neighbors at a distance, so making noise is fine. It's a high-freedom home for music lovers, social people, BBQ enthusiasts. Moving here, becoming a kabuki actor, practicing loudly, striking grand poses, that's fun.
