Anatomist Youro Takeshi has been concerned about the concentration of population in the Tokyo metropolitan area. He notes that without a Nankai Trough or direct Tokyo earthquake, people won't recognize the risks. Indeed, the probability of a Nankai Trough earthquake has significantly increased. Professor Youro raises awareness of various 'walls' in society, starting with his 2003 work 'The Wall of Stupidity,' followed by 'The Wall of Death' (2004), 'My Wall' (2014), 'The Wall of Humanity' (2021), and 'The Wall of Life' (2024). Underlying this is a glimpse of the difficulty in living in modern society. Therefore, he pursues self-realization through insect specimen collection at his villa in Hakone. I have accompanied the professor on insect-collecting expeditions in the Mogami region several times and learned from him the wonder of rural living. After reading the professor's books, we received inquiries about relocation. Questions about the most popular area in Mogami, desires to live in a village, and visions of rural lifestyle while gently interacting with local residents. The second floor is spacious, with an atmosphere reminiscent of an old inn. The owner says that simply gazing out from the second floor brings happiness. Recently, some people have moved here to pursue hunting. This property is ideal for such individuals. Upon visiting, wild Japanese macaques lounged in nearby rice paddies, indifferently eating fallen grain.
