From the listing
This is the first registration in some time from Tozawa Village, a folk house in the Kanda district. Called 'Jinden' rather than 'Kanda'. Nearby is the Kanda Shrine. According to tradition, around the first year of Kanji, the warlord Abe Sadatō, of the Genji Tate clan from Noguchi, revered it deeply and is said to have generated many legendary tales through its spiritual power; also known affectionately as Myōken-sama. Located on a small hill, surrounded by paddies in a picturesque setting. I recall visiting for a survey of Graphium sarpedon (the Japanese swallowtail butterfly) and confirming its presence there. The flora also seemed to maintain a natural ecosystem. This residence was previously used as a dwelling and subsequently rented out. The interior is well-maintained with no apparent need for major repairs. The point may be that it is not one of the larger houses common in rural areas. Situated along a main road, so snow removal is well-established. Parking space is no problem. Located at the edge of a settlement of about 100 households, so noise is not a concern. Living in the Kanda paddies and watching the spring goddess butterfly dance across the landscape might be nice.
