Full description
I purchased a used house to start a cafe and renovated the residential section and built a shop. I opened the cafe a year ago, but the shop owner, my wife, became ill and we had to close after a few months. Neighbors, community members, and regular customers have asked us to please reopen such an establishment, but I work a different job and live in Kanto for work reasons, so it is difficult to continue the shop. I am looking for someone who could use this house. Several people asked to rent it, but since I live far away, I cannot fulfill my responsibilities as a landlord if something happens, so I have decided to sell. Currently, the shop still has tables, chairs, stove, and refrigerator (some dishes), so it is possible to operate a cafe or other business immediately. It has a dog run; while not large enough for big dogs to run around, it is wider than typical urban cafe dog runs. The second floor was intended for private accommodation and renovation via DIY is incomplete but could be completed with minimal additional work. The residential and shop sections are connected but have a door that can be locked. The kitchen and toilet are separate. The residential section has renovated water facilities, living room, and corridors in clean condition. Before finding this house, I viewed dozens of used properties, but hardly any were move-in ready; most had Buddhist altars left in place, so a house that is ready to live in without any maintenance is surprisingly valuable. There is a tourist spot called Unhenji Temple with heavy car traffic on weekends and holidays. Major travel agencies like JTB have inquiries, suggesting steady demand for cafes, restaurants, and lodging. Many overseas pilgrims visit and sometimes ask where to stay. During the cafe years, there were regular customers who would be delighted if the shop reopens. Originally a dog-friendly cafe, but no restrictions apply if you operate your own business, please open the shop of your dreams. Since it was previously operated as a cafe, permits from health and fire departments have been obtained. Facilities: bathroom dryer, bath reheating function, heated bidet toilet seat, 2 toilets, bathroom window, monitor intercom, 2 kitchens, parking available (6 cars; depends on vehicle type), garden (currently dog run).
