I purchased this land for my second-life project. What had been forestland was cleared and leveled, and a container was relocated here. I had planned to make this a starting point to enjoy mountain activities while leveraging my DIY hobby, but due to busy work schedules, it hasn't received attention for about two years. The location is in a resort area in Kawasaki, Miyagi Prefecture. It's about 15 minutes by car from the Miyagi Kawasaki Interchange, and is recommended for those who want to build it themselves, nature-oriented relocators, and those pursuing second-life goals. Since it's a container house under construction, it's an affordable property with maximum flexibility. Electricity and water are already connected, so those costs are not an issue (these normally cost quite a bit). / The two 20-foot containers are joined together. No need to worry about rain leaks at the junction. There are no structural problems. Interior walls and ceiling are OSB plywood with recessed downlights installed. Insulation material has already been added to walls, floor, and ceiling, and a roof has been installed on the exterior top of the container house made of FRP material. Double roof design ensures insulation and minimizes rain noise. Doors and windows are already installed, and there is a toilet (installation to be completed later). If external stairs are installed, the roof can be put to good use. Container color can be changed, so there's the pleasure of customizing it to your taste. Everything can be done as an extension of DIY. A septic tank was installed but has not yet been connected. / About 2 minutes by car from the resort area is 'Japo-no-Yu hot spring' (400 yen). Hot spring water can be brought in, but it costs money (around 1 yen million). It's borderline worth it. There's space to create a shower room, making it an ideal property for those who want to obtain a second house while enjoying hobbies as an extension of DIY. Price negotiable for quick purchasers. / Since mountain activities can be enjoyed nearby, I especially recommend this to those who enjoy wild vegetable foraging and stream fishing. Even more enjoyable if you have an ATV. Of course, skiing too. There's a festival nearby every year around Golden Week, so it can be used for those occasions as well.
