Full description
This is a used property purchased about 10+ years ago. I have cherished and carefully maintained this house, but as our family's circumstances changed and we rarely visit anymore, I am looking to sell it. When originally purchased, the interior was not fully equipped, but we subsequently renewed the furnishings, added a wood-burning stove, and installed air conditioning. The wood-stove season from autumn is wonderful. (The stove is a Nestor Martin S43, a luxury Belgian brand.) The interior has a log-cabin aesthetic, and combined with the wood stove, it creates a very healing space. There are also firewood racks and a storage shed outside. Located at 650 meters elevation in the middle of the Doshi mountains, with pleasant breezes, and using delicious spring water from the nearby stream. (Rice cooked with this water is exceptional.) There are also two hot spring facilities nearby. I am a musician and have a piano in the house. I would like to pass this on to someone who will care for it. / Currently there are no defects, and I would be happy to show you the property in person if interested. The neighbors are all gentle people, so you can relax and freely enjoy your vacation home lifestyle. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to appreciate grand nature with birdsong in a remote mountain setting. The property also has good views (south-facing) and from the high elevation you can see distant vistas. Access is about 40 minutes from Sagamiko IC on the Chuo Expressway, about 30 minutes from Tsuru IC, and about 5 minutes from Doshi town office. / Immediate occupancy available. The building is currently unregistered, but as this is a mountain property, this presents no issues and may actually allow for smoother transactions. The land is leasehold. In addition to spring water from the stream, municipal water supply has also been installed.

A pre-1981 build predates Japan's current earthquake code, which can matter for insurance and renovation. We flag the era from the year built where we have it.
