Full description
A house I've been maintaining as a second home. Since I'm now returning to school while working and studying simultaneously, it's no longer practical to use a second home, so I've decided to sell it. / Currently I have minimal furniture (mostly empty inside) and visit once a week. The air conditioner (1 unit), automatic hot water bath, refrigerator, washing machine, sunken kotatsu, TV, and bicycle all work (confirmed as of June 30, 2026). Although old, it's ready to live in immediately. Being surrounded by roads and pathways, it gets good sunlight, and because the sea is near, there's good ventilation when windows are opened. Please visit in person to confirm. Right now water, gas, and electricity are all under contract. / Condition: The toilet is flush-type with a single septic tank (last inspected December 2024), and there's a sewage pipe in front of the entrance. The town hall told me there's also a sewage access point at the northwest corner of the property. The entrance hallway sags in parts, but according to the carpenter, the foundation joists are fine and it can be fixed by laying boards on top. The tatami in the 4.5-mat Japanese room is damaged. Cracks have appeared in the concrete fence. / Additionally, all doors and windows open and close, but the condition regarding differential settlement is unknown. There are no roof leaks. I don't see any termites. However, the condition of wood in hidden areas is unknown. There are no survey maps or inspection completion certificates. / Current Status: An empty house in move-in-ready condition / Since this is an old property, I expect there may be some wear and deterioration in areas not visible. Please understand this is an 'as-is' sale and consider the stated price accordingly.

Utilities
Area and hazard data
- About 159.2 km from the coast
- About 131.2 km to the nearest primary school
A pre-1981 build predates Japan's current earthquake code, which can matter for insurance and renovation. We flag the era from the year built where we have it.
Municipal conditions and restrictions
Some towns attach conditions to an empty-home purchase, for example a residency requirement or farmland-law (nochi-ho) approval, which is a local sign-off needed before farmland can change hands or use. These come from the source listing.
- Setback required as north-facing road is less than 4 meters wide
- Setback required if west and south boundaries of property are determined to be roads
Always confirm the current conditions with the town before you commit.
