The most unique feature of this house is its layout: rather than rooms connecting via a hallway, four rooms connect in a line extending deeper and deeper inward, I think of it as a 'Tetris-like floor plan.' Despite its unconventional layout, the building is solid and just the right size for a single person or couple. The building is long horizontally, occupying most of the plot; there is no garden, but the owner lives nearby and has said 'if you want to farm, I can discuss it with you.' The first room is the kitchen, with light coming in from three sides, bright and welcoming. Part of the floor feels soft; you'll need to discuss with the owner whether repairs are needed before moving in. The second room is the dining room, refurbished with flooring, making it a convenient space for a dining table. There is a Western-style toilet in the back. The third room is a Japanese-style room, perfect for relaxing on tatami! Opening the sliding doors to enjoy sunbathing under the eaves feels wonderful. At the back are a bathing area, washing area, and bathroom. The bathroom floor is tiled and feels a bit cold; placing a slatted rack might help. Finally, the innermost fourth room has flooring and wallpaper, a clean space with an awkward shape like a difficult Tetris piece. Placing a bed and furniture strategically would work well as a bedroom. Each room has good storage, making for a tidy lifestyle.
