Full description
A residence along a prefectural road. Buildings occupy the entire lot, so there is no garden, but the benefit is no lawn mowing required. A garage next to the entrance can accommodate one car. Behind the garage is a substantial shed-like storage space that, with proper maintenance, would be suitable for woodworking or tinkering with cars and motorcycles. Entryway and kitchen, plus a reception room and living room. There is some slight flooring unevenness in places, but no major renovations appear necessary. The tatami room, including the veranda, exudes an old-world charm. The second floor has two adjoining tatami rooms totaling 14 mats. There is a large storage closet at the back, excellent natural light, and overall very comfortable living space. The bath and washbasin appear usable as-is. There was an old wood/kerosene dual-fuel boiler, but it is broken and needs replacement. The toilet is a traditional squat-style septic toilet. Septic tank installation may be difficult due to space constraints, so careful consideration of renovation costs is needed. There is no garden space for vegetable gardening, but the house is large enough for a family. If you want to do vegetable gardening, you might be able to rent space from local residents after establishing good relationships with them. You could spend your days listening to the murmur of the river and lazily watching cars pass by. A wonderful property where you can enjoy that kind of relaxed time.
